The Blueberry Patch

The Blueberry Patch at Mount Compass started with a thousand plants in 1983 and now runs about 9,000 bushes across four hectares in the Nangkita Valley. There is no entry fee and no fuss: your container is weighed before you fill it, and you pay for the fruit you pick.

• Blueberries - picking is generally offered during January, within a mid December to mid February counter sales window

• Blueberry ice cream cones and frozen fruit sold year round
• Shaded picnic areas beside the bushes

Good to Know

There is no entry fee: containers are weighed before filling and you are charged only for the fruit you pick. Bring your own container or use the farm's 2L or 4L tubs. The farm posts daily availability to its social account and warns that it often closes early or skips days depending on weather and demand, so check before travelling.

Pro tip: picking is really a January offering, so do not plan around the wider counter sales window.
