Plummers Pick Your Own has been farmed by the Plummer family at Forest Range for around 120 years, across roughly 200 acres of apples and ten acres of cherries. Ian and Gavin Plummer run picking across two seasons: cherries on Plummers Road from early December, then apples at the Lobethal Road orchard from late February.
No entry fee is published, and the rule is simply that you buy what you pick; EFTPOS is available and no bookings are needed. Apples run weekends, public holidays and school holidays, 10am to 4pm. The family also farm the blocks once branded Stella Creek and Everlong Orchard, so those names refer to the same operation.
Pro tip: cherries in December and apples from late February means two completely different visits to the same family farm.
