@Lenswood Pick Your Own runs the Adelaide Hills' biggest apple picking operation on Harris Road, with eight varieties ripening across the autumn: Gala and Rosy Glow first, then Golden Delicious, Sundowner, Pink Lady, Red Delicious, Granny Smith and Fuji. Entry includes all the apples you can eat while you pick, plus the farm amusements.
Entry is $8 for adults and $5 for children, free for under-2s, and includes all-you-can-eat apples in the orchard. The farm states plainly that it does not take bookings for general picking; only school and after-school-care excursions need to arrange ahead. Hours are 9am to 4pm daily in season with last entry at 3.30pm. Cherry picking runs from the family's separate Birdwood orchard each December.
Pro tip: the sliding scale rewards a big haul, so take a crate and split 10kg with another family.
We list what we have confirmed. If something you need is not shown, it is worth calling the farm to check.
