@Birdwood Pick Your Own Cherries is the summer half of the family that runs @Lenswood, working a flat orchard under permanent shade netting at Birdwood. The prepaid entry model means you know the cost and the take-home quantity before you arrive, and the low-hanging fruit suits small children.
Last published entry was $22 for adults and $18 for children (3-12, under 3 free), including a bag of roughly 700g to 900g of cherries plus eating from the tree as you pick; extra bags scale down in price the more you buy. The farm has flagged that 2026 pricing is still to be confirmed. No bookings are needed and buses and large groups are welcome.
Pro tip: the netted orchard stays cool, which makes it one of the more comfortable January picking options in the Hills.
