Warrandyte Berry Farm

Warrandyte Berry Farm on Ringwood-Warrandyte Road is one of the closest pick-your-own farms to Melbourne, about 30 minutes from the city, with a loyal local following. Strawberries and blueberries fill the field, and the farm stall's strawberry sauce, jams, sundaes, hot jam donuts and homemade ice cream are half the reason people come.

Being minutes from the eastern suburbs means the farm fills fast on summer weekends, and the picking field can close early once the ripe fruit is cleared, so mornings are the safer bet.
