About This Farm
The Strawberry Forest grows its chemical-spray-free strawberries vertically on the Avenue of Honour at Bacchus Marsh, an approach that won the Dellios family a 2018 Victorian Rural Water Award. Picking standing up means no bent backs, and the rows are genuinely accessible for prams, wheelchairs and anyone who finds ground-level picking hard.

Entry has been reported at $2 per person with under 5s free; confirm on the farm's Facebook page, which is also where daily picking updates land. Berries often sell out by early afternoon, so come in the morning. There are no toilets on site, parking is free but limited, and pets stay out of the rows. The vertical towers also keep fruit off the ground, which means cleaner berries and far less waste after rain, and picking updates are posted daily through the season.
Pro tip: standing-height rows make picking comfortable for grandparents, wheelchair users and anyone who prefers not to bend.
