The Little Organic Paddock sits right next door to Otway Blueberries at Gellibrand, and has been certified organic since 2019. The family grows Brigitta, Northland and Denise blueberries plus several strawberry varieties, with farm animals to meet and picnic spots that make it the more kid-oriented of the two neighbouring farms.
No entry fee; open daily 9am-5pm through the season, no bookings needed. Bring your own containers. Ready-picked berries can be arranged with advance notice if someone in the group would rather watch than pick. Certification covers the whole property, so everything from the berries to the garlic is grown to the same organic standard. The farm animals are a reliable hit with younger visitors, and the picnic tables make it easy to turn picking into a slow morning. Bring hats in high summer, as the strawberry rows sit in open sun.
Pro tip: do both farms in one trip; they are 100 metres apart and their seasons overlap all summer.
