Rayner's Orchard

Rayner's Orchard is a family-run orchard in Woori Yallock, in the heart of the Yarra Valley about an hour east of Melbourne. Growing more than 450 varieties of fruit across the property, it has something ripening almost every month of the year, from summer peaches and plums to exotic tamarillos, feijoas and pepinos ripening through the year.

What You Can Pick

Something is ready to pick almost every month of the year, with all U-pick fruit weighed at $7 per kg:

• Stone fruits - peaches, nectarines, apricots and plums through summer
• Apples, figs and persimmons - from autumn
• Citrus and kiwi fruit - oranges, mandarins and lemons through winter and spring
• Exotics - tamarillos and other rare finds

• Tractor Fruit Adventure Tours - guided trailer rides through the orchard with fruit tasting straight from the tree
• Farm animals to meet along the way
• Peach Cafe serving farm-style meals

Good to Know

Entry to the cafe and farm shop is free; orchard access and picking is via the booked tractor tour, so reserve online ahead of your visit. Open seven days (closed Christmas Day), roughly 9am to 4pm in the cooler months and until 5pm December to February.

Pro tip: tours run regularly through the day, but the first and last tours (around 9.30am and 3.30pm) are quietest.
