TNT Produce farms Kurts Road at Bilpin, running seasonal pick-your-own from roughly November to June with a try-before-you-buy tasting policy while you pick. Alpacas, goats, sheep, ducks and chickens keep younger visitors busy, dogs are welcome on a leash, and the weekend cafe turns out burgers, scones and homemade apple pies.
Entry is $10 for adults and $7.50 for children (3-12, under 3 free), booked online for weekends; weekday school-holiday sessions run as walk-ins. Entry fees are paid at booking with no refunds or date changes. The farm closes over winter and reopens around late October for the new season.
Pro tip: the autumn persimmon weeks are the quiet secret; the orchard glows orange and the crowds are gone.
